Hospitality

(Coming Next Year)

About the Program

What’s the deal with hospitality, anyway? It’s all about giving a warm, generous welcome to guests, visitors, or even strangers. It’s about being friendly, polite, and going the extra mile to make sure everyone feels comfortable and has a great time. In a nutshell, hospitality is what makes a guest’s experience truly special.

The hospitality industry covers a wide range of services, like hotels, restaurants, catering, tourism, entertainment, and more. Here are some key things that make hospitality awesome:

  • Accommodation: Providing comfortable and welcoming lodging facilities like hotels, motels, resorts, etc.

  • Food and Beverage: Preparing and serving food and beverages to guests in restaurants, bars, cafes, catering services, etc.

  • Travel and Tourism: Facilitating travel, tours, and activities for visitors or tourists.

  • Events and Meetings: Organizing and managing events, conferences, conventions, and social gatherings.

  • Customer Service: Providing friendly, helpful, and attentive service to guests to ensure a positive experience.

The hospitality biz is all about knowing what guests want before they even ask, making them feel at home, and creating unforgettable moments. You’ve got to be great at chatting with people, noticing the little things, fixing problems on the fly, and understanding different cultures to really rock this industry!

This program focuses on preparing students with the experience, commitment, and skills they need for management, marketing and operations within the hospitality and tourism service industry. Students will be prepared for a wide variety of careers in food and beverage management, hotel/resort management, travel management, food marketing and distribution, and event management.
