Today was the first restaurant service of the year, and our students knocked it out of the park! 🍽️

🎨✨ Students in the Educator Prep program have been working hard to create eye-catching and interactive bulletin boards that now brighten our hallways 🌟. These displays showcase their hard work 💪 and collaboration efforts 🤝, and have sparked engagement from both staff and students 👩🏫👨🏫. It’s great to see such impressive efforts come to life in a way that fosters interaction within our school community! 🌈👏

Last Wednesday, 11 UTC Leaders attended the Maine CTE Student Leadership Conference in Bangor. These students attended professional development sessions on leading with integrity, digital footprint, and professional soft skills. Industry representatives and CTE students from all over the state were in attendance, presenting our students with a wonderful networking opportunity. We are excited to see these leaders put their skills to work within our school and the community! #MaineCTE #UTC4ME #CTEBuildsLeaders #LeadingWithIntegrity

We can say, without a doubt, that our UTC students embraced the ‘No Limits’ mindset this past week, and in the weeks leading up to the SkillsUSA National Conference. Going head-to-head with the best of the best in the country is no small challenge. Whether they walk the National stage, or the result is not quite what they hoped for, the lessons learned through this experience are invaluable. Their preparation, commitment, and persistence is a testament to the dedication that they have in their chosen trade and is also a reflection of their outstanding character. This week certainly was not without its challenges, disappointment, and triumph. Through it all, our crew has represented their communities, our school, and the State of Maine well. We consider it an honor and a privilege to work with these fine individuals. What a great week! We are so proud! ❤️🤍💙 (For those wondering, we finally made it to Bangor around 11:45am this morning after two more delays. 13.5 hours later than scheduled. 😅)

Well, we had smooth traveling from Atlanta to DC and DC to Bangor, right up until we tried to land. Weather in Bangor was not conducive for us to touch down, so we were diverted to Boston. Hoping for an on-time 8am flight to Bangor after staying in Logan Airport all night. 🤞

Silver for Tyler!!!!!🥈 Woo hoo! 👏

We put our escape room skills to the test today. 🕵️🕵️♀️🕵️♂️

Our competitions are complete! Every single one of our kids left everything in their competition area and we could not be more proud! 🥹 Now we wait!

Another early morning for our kids. Matt and Brendan have reported to Electrical and Plumbing, Grayson and Tim are ready to start the Digital Cinema viewing session, and Tyler is waiting to enter the collision repair competition area.

Our crew took a break this evening to explore the Georgia Aquarium, and it did not disappoint! 🦈 🐬🐠🦑🐢🐊

What a day! All of our students have been putting in the WORK! 💪
